My name is Lorena, and I live in Koprivnica, Croatia.
I have always been drawn to world mythology, mysticism, ancient stories, stones shaped by time, and the quiet joy that appears on someone’s face when they wear a piece of jewelry I have created.
The idea for Aranea was born in December 2024, and my small, magical workshop officially came to life in March 2025. During that time, I formed a deep connection with macramé jewelry-making — one that feels less like a skill learned and more like a path remembered. I know this is something I will carry with me for a lifetime.
Although objects are, in essence, just objects, humans have an extraordinary ability to imagine, to project meaning, and to give things a soul — at least within the mind and heart. And perhaps that is the whole point of life. This belief is at the core of Aranea.
Each necklace is created not only as an aesthetic piece, but as a vessel of symbolism. I give my jewelry divine qualities — both physical and imagined — so that the person wearing it can form a deeper connection with it.
